For many of us this is a common and question.  I will always emphasize paying more than your minimum monthly payment to get rid of your credit card debt as soon as possible. Keep in mind it does not have to be much. If you only pay $5-$10 it can make a huge difference assuming you are not putting additional charges on your card.
